Klagenfurt Christmas Market

Visit the Christkindlmarkt am Neuen Platz in front of the town hall by the Lindwurmbrunnen fountain – the landmark of the state capital. Salzburg Christmas Market

A special experience in Advent is the Bergweihnacht in Innsbruck. Surrounded by snow-covered mountains and medieval houses of Innsbruck’s old town, immerse yourself in what is probably the city’s most traditional Christmas market. Let yourself be enchanted by the Christmas ambience of the Tyrolean capital. In front of the Golden Roof and the illuminated Christmas tree, 40 rustic Christmas stalls line up. Freshly roasted almonds, Tyrolean kiachln and spicy mulled wine invite you to linger. Lovingly carved nativity figurines and colorful felt hats are all about traditional folk art here.

Christmas market Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna

Vienna, the capital of Austria, lists more than 15 Christmas markets. However, the Kultur- und Weihnachtsmarkt Schloss Schönbrunn is particularly beautiful. The courtyard in front of Schönbrunn Palace is festively decked out during Advent. Over 80 lovingly decorated huts and a varied supporting program create a pre-Christmas atmosphere. After Christmas, the culture and Christmas market in front of Schönbrunn Palace transforms into a New Year’s market.
